Registration

Getting signed up.

Through Maincourt. The mobile app is easier than the website.

Click any “Register on Maincourt” button on our site to get started. You'll create a Maincourt account (free), select your division, and pay the entry fee. Use code HEATWAVE for 10% off through July 4. We strongly recommend downloading the Maincourt mobile app to complete your registration — the flow is significantly smoother than the desktop site.

July 18, 2026.

Registration closes July 18 — one week before the tournament. Some divisions may close earlier if they fill up, so don't wait if you're set on a specific division.

$60 per player for DUPR divisions. $110 per player for OPEN divisions.

All standard DUPR-rated divisions are $60 per player. The OPEN cash prize divisions (Men's Doubles OPEN and Men's Singles OPEN) are $110 per player. Pricing is per player — doubles teams pay $120 for DUPR divisions or $220 for OPEN divisions. Use code HEATWAVE for 10% off through July 4.

No.

Registration is online-only and closes July 18. We can't accept walk-ups on tournament day.

You'll join the waitlist or switch divisions.

Divisions are first-come, first-served. If a division fills, you can either join a different division you're eligible for or be added to the waitlist. We'll contact you if a spot opens.

Divisions

Finding your spot.

Use your DUPR rating.

Each division corresponds to a DUPR rating range. Creating a DUPR account is required to play in our tournaments — it's free. If you don't have a rating yet, that's fine — just register for the division you think fits best, and your DUPR rating will be established after the tournament based on your match results.

Yes. You can play above, but not below.

You can register for a division at or above your DUPR rating. We don't allow players to play down (e.g., a 4.5 player playing in a 3.5 division).

You can still play. Pick the division you think fits.

Players without a DUPR rating are welcome. Pick whichever division you honestly feel matches your level — your DUPR rating will be established after the tournament based on your match results. If you're unsure, contact us at zztpickleball@gmail.com and we'll help you find the right fit.

Yes, as long as the wave times don't overlap.

Check the schedule on the Heat Wave page before registering for multiple divisions. Each division plays in a specific wave — overlapping wave times means you can't play both.

OPEN has no rating cap and has cash prizes. Rated divisions count toward your DUPR.

OPEN divisions are for elite players regardless of DUPR rating, with cash prizes of $800 (Men's Doubles) and $500 (Men's Singles) for 1st place. Rated divisions are DUPR-rated — your match results contribute to your official rating. OPEN matches are NOT submitted to DUPR.
